This was the road where Major Winters found Bill Guarnere having spoken with another Officer, who inspoected Bill's billet and finding some ladies from London, in the loft/attic of Bill's accomodation. I'm not sure if Bill was demoted/busted here but one can imagine Bill walking down the road, knowing that he was trouble upon seeing Winters.
